Jim Colver
James "Jim" Colver is an American politician from Alaska. A Republican, he is a member of the Alaska House of Representatives, serving from House District 9 since 2015. He is also a former assemblyman for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
Colver mounted a successful primary challenge to incumbent Representative Eric Feige in 2014; the Chickaloon Republican finished third in the three-way primary election on August 19. He went on to defeat Palmer Democrat Mabel Wimmer and Constitution Party nominee Pam Goode of Delta Junction in the general election, finishing on top in another three-way contest.

Colver lives in the Hatcher Pass area, near Palmer. He acknowledged during his 2014 campaign that he previously supported several Democratic candidates, including Mark Begich in the 2008 U.S. Senate election.
